FAQ on user creation

Here are the most frequently asked questions about creating a user.

When can I create a user?

  • If the person is already present within your organization, you can go ahead and create the user.

  • If the person has not joined your organization yet and/or has not activated their professional email inbox, give it a few days!

  • Please note that you must have the Fleet Manager role to be able to create a user.

Do I need to activate the user myself?

No. Your user will activate their own account using the activation email they receive.

I want my user to have the exact same screen access rights as an existing member of my fleet. What should I do?

When creating the account, use the field labeled "Screen rights from users."

I noticed that the new user has access to the screens but doesn’t have the same administration rights as the user I copied.

This is completely normal. When creating a user, you assign them a default screen permission level (Broadcaster, Manager, Administrator). If you want them to have the exact same administration/management rights, we invite you to go directly to your screen or screen group management page.

The user tells me they haven't received the activation email. What should I do?

  • Have you checked the spam folder?

  • If the email is not in the spam folder, you can resend them an activation email directly from your "Users" fleet page.
