FAQ: Which campaigns can I view and/or edit?

This FAQ helps you understand why some users can view or edit certain campaigns while others cannot, even if they have similar roles or permissions. It also explains how shares of voice, roles, and campaign types influence visibility.

Which campaigns can I view?

The absolute rule is that you can view all campaigns that you have authored, as well as campaigns for screens where you hold permissions. (An exception to this is the share of voice on screens; for example, a user with a "lessor" share of voice will only see campaigns with a "lessor" share of voice).

Why can one user see a campaign and another cannot, even if they have the same permission for a screen (e.g. diffusor)?

Even with an identical role, the configuration of shares of voice can vary from one user to another. If a user does not have the correct shares of voice, they will not be able to see certain campaigns broadcast on a screen.

Example: If you have a "lessor" share of voice on a screen, you will only see lessor campaigns on that screen.

Why can't a user edit a campaign created by another member of the same user group?

Even if two users belong to the same user group, editing campaigns depends on the "content manager" role.

  • If no manager is defined: Members cannot edit campaigns created by other members, even if they belong to the same group.

  • If a content manager is defined: Only a designated "content manager" can edit the campaigns of other members within the user group.

If you do not have a named content manager in your user group, please contact your fleet manager.

Why can I only see a single campaign broadcasting on my screen right now?

It is possible that the campaign currently being displayed is a solo campaign.

This type of campaign is configured to broadcast on its own, which is perfectly normal; in this scenario, no other campaigns will display on the screen at the same time. However, if multiple solo campaigns are scheduled to broadcast at the exact same time, they will take turns playing sequentially.
