Step 1: connect the player (already connected to the power supply) to the box/ router/ switch using an Ethernet cable (not supplied).

The player needs to be temporarily connected to an internet box to retrieve the network information it needs.

Step 2: log in to the Cenareo platform and go to the “Screens” tab. Search for the screen you want to connect by its name or the player barcode and go into it to access the details.

Step 3: access the “Network connection” section Click on the WiFi network to scroll down and complete the network information.

Contact your network administrator for any further information you need. Typically only the SSID and Password are needed. Remember to confirm the information you have entered.

Step 4: wait up to 5 minutes for the player to retrieve the WiFi network configuration. On the Cenareo platform in the “network connection” section, an alert banner reports that the player has not yet retrieved its configuration. Refresh the page until the banner disappears and the WiFi connection is displayed in blue.

Step 5: disconnect the Ethernet cable from the player which will automatically connect to the WiFi. Connect the player to the screen using the HDMI cable provided and then to the mains with its power cable.

Step 6: check the player’s connection by ensuring the WiFi network is green on the screen page or by entering its barcode here if you do not have access to the platform (this page will open in a new tab).
