Installing Cenareo Flex extension
Before starting the procedure, it is essential to have administrator access to your Google Workspace or Chrome Enterprise environment.
These permissions are required to manage device settings and apply large-scale deployment policies. In particular, they allow you to install and configure the Cenareo Flex extension across all relevant devices.
Without these authorizations, extension deployment will be limited to individual installations and cannot be automatically applied to all users or devices in the organization.
Access the Google Admin Console
Go to the URL https://admin.google.com/
Sign in using your Google administrator account.
You will be redirected to the Google Admin console, which is the central hub for managing users, devices, and security settings in your Google Workspace or Chrome Enterprise environment.
Install using the extensions directory
From the Google Admin console,
Go to the Chrome Browser section,
Then select Apps and extensions.
From the Apps and extensions panel, Choose the perimeter of the deployement of the app.
Prowse the organizational unit tree.
Select the one in which you want to install the extension.
In our example, the extension will be deployed across the entire company to ensure consistent application on all relevant workstations.
Add and activate the extension
At the bottom right of the interface, click the “+” icon.
Select Add from Chrome Web Store to add a new extension to the chosen organizational unit.
In the Search by ID field, enter the following ID:
nkplckhfgiilfjbaabeebidoloflgdoiThe Cenareo extension page will then appear in the results list. Select it by clicking Select to add it to your environment.
Once the extension is added, it will appear in the list of configured extensions for the organizational unit. Click on the Cenareo extension to open its configuration options in the right-hand panel.
In the Installation policies section:
choose either Force install or Force install and pin to the browser toolbar.
This configuration automatically enforces the installation of the extension on all Chrome browsers used by users belonging to the previously selected organizational unit, without any manual action on their part, thus ensuring a consistent and controlled deployment.
