Installing the Cenareo Player on Sony Bravia

Step 1: Check prerequisites

Compatibility
Your TV must support Android TV 5 or higher.

Connection
A stable Internet connection is required. Ethernet is recommended.

Google Account
Use the shared Google account dedicated to digital signage:
devices.android@cenareo.com

Material
A USB drive containing the file BraviaB2bSettings.json at the root of the USB drive.

Estimated time
15 minutes.

Step 2: Factory reset your display

  1. Press the Home button on your remote.

If the Home button does not respond (Pro Settings mode active), perform the following unlock sequence:

Info → Mute → Vol+ → Home

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) → System → About.

  2. Select Reset → Factory data reset.

  3. Confirm by selecting Delete everything.

Step 3: Configure initial settings

Once the display has restarted, follow the setup wizard.

Language
Choose your preferred language. English is recommended for compatibility.

Quick setup
Select Skip to bypass the Android phone setup.

Network
Connect using one of the following options:

  • Ethernet cable

  • Wi-Fi network (enter the password)

Google Account

  1. Select Sign In

  2. Enter the email: devices.android@cenareo.com

  3. Enter the password and 2FA backup code provided by Cenareo

Google Services : Accept the Google Terms of Service and Google Services.

Step 4: Install the Cenareo application

  1. From the Home screen, select the "+" icon (Favorites) or open the Play Store.

  2. In the search bar, type : CENAREO

  3. Select Cenareo (Beta) from the results.

  4. Click Install.

Step 5: Activate Pro Settings mode

Pro mode allows you to lock settings and optimize the screen for digital signage.

  1. Return to the Home screen.

  2. Select Pro settings.

  3. Select Pro settings mode and confirm with OK.

A blue banner “Pro settings in process” should appear at the top of the screen.

Step 6: Import configuration via USB

This step automates power settings and application launching.

  1. In the Pro settings menu, select USB drive auto run.

  2. Enable the Import settings option.

  3. Insert your USB drive into the TV.

  4. When a message detects valid data, select Import.

The TV will restart automatically.
This may take up to 2 minutes.

Step 7 : Activate Pro Settings mode

Pro mode allows you to lock settings and optimize the screen for digital signage.

  1. Return to the Home screen.

  2. Select Pro settings.

  3. Select Pro settings mode and confirm with OK.

A blue banner “Pro settings in process” should appear at the top of the screen.

Step 8 : Verify and activate your player

After the restart, perform the following checks:

  • The Cenareo application launches automatically

  • The screen saver is disabled

Activation

An activation code (example: B3BOB212) appears on a black screen with the message: “Waiting for activation...”

Final action

Send this code to your Cenareo contact or to support@cenareo.com to activate your broadcast.
