In digital signage network management, content broadcasting does not always follow a linear path. Technical unforeseen events, last-minute marketing strategy changes, or emergency situations require immediate responsiveness. Interrupting a campaign is a critical feature that meets the need for total and instantaneous control over broadcast messages to protect brand image and ensure communication relevance.
On Cenareo platform, there are three ways to interrupt a campaign's broadcast. Although they may seem similar, their impact on your screen fleet and broadcast dates differs.

Pause on one or all my screens
This action interrupts a campaign's broadcast on one or more screens.
Scope: It only affects the screens where you have direct broadcasting or management rights.
Partial impact: If a campaign is broadcast on 100 screens but you only manage 10 of them, the other 90 screens will continue to display the content.
Use case: A store manager wishes to stop a promotion on their local screens without interrupting the global national campaign.

Suspend the campaign
It interrupts the campaign on all screens without exception, even those for which you do not have specific access rights.
Data Retention: Unlike a permanent stop, suspending retains the original broadcast dates.
Use Case: Immediately removing incorrect or undesirable content across the entire network in a single click.

Stop the campaign
The "Stop" action ends the campaign's lifecycle.
Irreversible calendar action: Clicking "Stop" automatically sets the end date to "now."
Difference from suspension: A suspended campaign can resume its normal course according to its original schedule, whereas a stopped campaign is considered finished.

Archive a campaign
Archiving is used when a campaign no longer has a reason to exist on the platform. Unlike a simple suspension, archiving:
Immediately stops the campaign from running on all targeted screens.
Permanently removes the campaign from the list of active campaigns and from the platform to declutter the interface.
Frees up resources associated with the content.

📦 Bulk Actions
