Sharing screen groups

Cenareo offers you the ability to organise the fleet of screens via groups. By default, these groups are personal and private: only you can view, edit, and use them. You can share them to allow other users in your organisation to use and edit them.

To do so, go to the page of the group you want to share and click the edit icon next to the number of users and define the user roles. There are 3 roles:

Broadcaster
They can use the group to broadcast their campaigns on the screens of the group
Manager
They can add or remove screens to or from a group
Owner (the creator of the group)
They can share the group, i.e. add or delete users.

Notes

The manager of a group of screens can use it (for example, to schedule campaigns), modify it (for example, to add or delete screens), but cannot delete or share it (these last two actions are reserved for the group owner)
To add a user to a group of screens, the user must already have rights to all the screens in the group OR the group owner must be an administrator of all the screens in the group to which the new user does not yet have access. In this case, this new user will be assigned the broadcaster right to the screens in question.
To add a screen to a group of screens, all the users of the group of screens must already have rights to the screen OR the user adding the screen must be an administrator of the new screen. In this case, users who previously did not have rights to the screen will be added as a broadcaster.
