What should I do if my player is being replaced?
If you have received a new Cenareo player to replace a defective one, don't worry: the procedure is quick and simple. Follow the steps below to ensure a seamless resume of your broadcast.
📦 Open your package
Your package contains only a new Cenareo player (player box).
💡 Good to know: Power, HDMI, and Ethernet cables are not included with your new player. Reuse the ones from your current installation. This simplifies the setup process and allows you to get started much faster.
🔌 Connect the new player
Take the new player you received:
Connect it exactly in place of the old one, using the cables already in place.
Turn on the screen if necessary.
🌐 Automatic connection and configuration
Great news! This new player is already preconfigured with your network settings (Wi-Fi SSID, password, etc.). As soon as it is plugged in:
The player will automatically connect to the Internet.
It will retrieve its previous environment (player name, location, ongoing campaigns). Broadcasting will resume normally within a few minutes.
Is your player not connecting automatically or is the broadcast not resuming?
If the new player does not connect or if the broadcast does not start back up:
Check that all cables are properly plugged in.
Make sure the screen is turned on and the correct HDMI source is selected.
Restart the player by unplugging it and plugging it back in.
